Brad Pitt’s Cliff Booth Returns to Theatres on November 25 Before Netflix Release

Brad Pitt is returning as Hollywood stuntman Cliff Booth in The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. The film will arrive in IMAX theatres on November 25, 2026. It will then premiere on Netflix on December 23.

The upcoming film continues the story of Brad Pitt‘s character from Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. It takes place eight years after the events of the original movie. The new story is set in Los Angeles in 1977.

Cliff Booth has moved on from his career as a stuntman. He now works as a Hollywood fixer. His job involves handling difficult situations for powerful people in the entertainment industry.

David Fincher directs the film, while Quentin Tarantino has written the screenplay. This marks another collaboration between Pitt and Fincher. They previously worked together on Fight Club, Seven and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

The film also features several new characters. Elizabeth Debicki plays talent agent Karen Crosby. Scott Caan appears as television star Charlie Peters. Carla Gugino and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are also part of the cast.

The story explores a darker side of Hollywood. Its plot involves murder, blackmail, theft and extortion. This gives the sequel a different direction from the original film.

The first movie explored Hollywood in 1969. It also followed the lives of an ageing television actor and his stunt double. The new film shifts its attention towards Cliff’s life and work several years later.

The IMAX release begins on November 25, 2026. Netflix will stream the film from December 23. Pitt’s return, Fincher’s direction and Tarantino’s writing make this one of the notable Hollywood releases to watch this year.
