North West’s First Solo Concert Draws Support From Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

North West has taken another major step in her young music career. The 13-year-old performer headlined her first solo concert at The Vic Theatre in Chicago on September 5, with her famous parents, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, both in attendance.

The Chicago show marked North’s first major headlining concert. She performed in front of a sold-out crowd and showcased songs from her debut EP, N0rth4evr, along with other material.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West watched from separate areas of the venue but both showed their support for their daughter. Their appearance attracted additional attention because the former couple finalized their divorce in 2022.

North’s concert comes after her planned summer tour with rapper Molly Santana was cancelled. However, she has continued building experience on stage. Earlier this year, she performed at the Rolling Loud festival and also appeared alongside Kanye during one of his concerts.

Music has increasingly become a major focus for North. Her debut EP, N0rth4evr, was released earlier this year, while she has also appeared on songs with her father and other artists.

The teenager has previously said that music is what she wants to pursue, and her Chicago performance suggests she is beginning to establish an identity of her own as a young artist.

For now, North West’s first headlining show has given fans a closer look at the next stage of her growing music career, while her parents’ presence made the Chicago performance an even bigger celebrity moment.
