Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost Return to Red Carpet After a Year
Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost made a stylish return to the red carpet together after about a year. The couple attended the premiere of Johansson’s upcoming film Paper Tiger at the 2026 New York Film Festival on September 25.
The appearance quickly caught attention as the couple arrived hand in hand and coordinated their outfits in shades of grey. Scarlett Johansson wore a fitted grey mini dress with silver strappy heels. She completed the look with jewellery, a light pink handbag and a bold red lip.
Colin Jost matched his wife with a grey three-piece suit, a pink shirt and a maroon tie. Their coordinated appearance gave the premiere a polished red-carpet feel.
The event also brought Johansson together with her Paper Tiger co-stars Adam Driver and Miles Teller. James Gray wrote and directed the crime drama, which premiered at the New York Film Festival.
For Johansson and Jost, the event marked their first joint red-carpet appearance in roughly a year. Their previous appearance together was at the 2025 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.
The couple first met when Johansson appeared as a guest host on Saturday Night Live in 2006. They reconnected years later and began dating in 2017. They married in 2020 and welcomed their son Cosmo in 2021.
Meanwhile, Paper Tiger is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on November 13, followed by a wider release on November 20.
