India’s numero uno filmmaker SS Rajamouli had a massive fan moment when he met his idol, the legendary Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg, at the BAFTA Tea Party hosted by Universal Pictures in Beverly Hills in January. Rajamouli also tweeted a few pictures from his meeting with his ‘God’ and he clearly looked starstruck when Spielberg told him and RRR’s music composer MM Keeravani that he liked the Golden Globe winning Naatu Naatu song.
Now, in yet another memorable moment, Rajamouli has had the opportunity to interview Spielberg ahead of the Indian release of Spielberg’s latest drama, ‘The Fabelmans’. The full interview will be published at 5 pm today. In the teaser, Spielberg told Rajamouli that he thought his movie (RRR) was outstanding. To this, an elated Rajamouli replied, “I can get up from the chair and dance.”
Rajamouli went on to ask Spielberg about his thought process behind the making of The Fabelmans. The film has had its theatrical release in India today.
