Marvel Comics decided to stall some of the projects coming up for launch in theatres in 2023 and 2024; there are plans for a few changes in the slate going into the future.

The famous scooper for Cosmic Circus, Alex P., has informed that fans can expect a few delays, mainly to produce quality products over quantity.

The 2022 phenomenon of trying to create a film every month will not be implemented in the 2023 -24 period. Cosmic Circus informed earlier in December that marvel was reconsidering its work’s entire production release following fans’ complaints and negative feedback about its distribution and quality.

Marvel hasn’t responded about its slate being delayed in the future, keeping these rumors unverified.

During 2008 when Marvel first launched the Incredible Hulk and Iron Man, they were releasing an average maximum of two films a year.

Until 2017 they were happy with that till they decided to release three films, Spiderman-Homecoming, Thor-Ragnarok, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. In phase four, Marvel also began to stream programs on television and release around three films in theatres on average. With Marvel films coming up frequently in 2021 and 2022, fans noticed a fall in quality and tipped off Marvel about it.

VFX artist Dhruv Govil stated that working with Marvel was a horrible experience that pushed him to leave the VFX industry. The company was overworking its workers and was rather stingy in paying for the hard work. As a result, good people like Govil left the sector with, ultimately, production quality suffering.

A few MCU projects will be stalled, including Echo, Loki Vision, Ironheart, etc., to name a few. Fans can verify the list once MCU decides on the projects and the information is shared with the media.

An official statement from MCU is awaited, so fans know which project will be delayed.

Marvel is also thinking of making special presentations of its projects instead of making six thirty-minute episodes. That way, the cost would be reduced, and fans would get a 45-minute to 60 minutes special giving a lasting impression rather than a thirty-minute episode. It is difficult to say which project would be converted into a special presentation.

Phase 5 would be Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, expected in theatres on 17 February 2023.
