Barry Allen embarks on a journey through time to alter the course of events that led to his mother’s death. However, the decision to alter things leads to catastrophic outcomes.
Similarly, the much-anticipated Indian film ‘Adipurush’ opened in theatres around the country on June 16. While the excitement before the release of the film had reached fever pitch, its post release reactions were a tad lukewarm due to the film’s poor VFX and dialogues that many viewers felt were inappropriate for an on-screen adaptation of an epic.
However, the Om Raut-directorial crossed Rs 200 crore gross at the worldwide box office to already become a huge commericial success.
Despite the stark differences in themes, execution style, dialogues, use of VFX and overall storytelling, there’s a thread of similarity between the two films that only eagle-eyed viewers took note of.

Some fans pointed to the fact that Barry’s mother used to call him ‘Monkey’ in the film.Others said it was a clear easter egg as Lord Hanuman is gifted with strength, super speed and is also called the sun of the deity Vayu (Wind god).
