Movie buffs who are especially fond of Malayalam cinema, are eagerly waiting for the next dawn to break, as the title poster of Mohanlal-Lijo Jose Pellissery’s upcoming film will be launched on Friday (Dec 23). To top it all up, superstar Mohanlal and filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery dropped some cryptic pictures on their respective social media handles on Wednesday (Dec 21) evening. The pictures seem to be a part of their upcoming title poster, and the posts have sent the netizens into a frenzy.
Kannada actors Vasishta N Simha and Hariprriya recently got engaged, and the lovely couple recently shared a glimpse of their custom-made rings. The golden rings featured a lion and a lioness, and the couple opened up about why they chose the particular design. Taking to her Instagram handle, Hariprriya said, “A little something more than usual is our thing. I am so in love with what’s going to be my second name “Simha”. I wanted our engagement rings to reflect it. A ring that we’re going to sport the rest of our lives has got to be special!! We zeroed in on a custom-made design with a lion and a lioness engraved on it. We had graphic designers work on these beautiful rings shaped like an octagon and an oval. I absolutely love how they turned out!!” Romantic, isn’t it?
Nayanthara’s much-awaited horror thriller ‘Connect’ has hit the big screens today (Dec 22), and is receiving mixed reviews from the audience. As the film is running in packed theatres, actor GP Muthu, who is also a content creator, raised some serious allegations against the team. Talking to the media, GP Muthu alleged that the organizers of the special premiere of ‘Connect’ insulted him. As per the actor, he was invited to attend the special premiere of ‘Connect’, which was held two days ago. The team of ‘Connect’ also allegedly told him that Nayanthara wished to meet him at the screening, so he will be seated next to the actress in the VIP row. However, when he reached the venue, the bouncers reportedly denied him entry to the VIP row, and he had to sit in the back row. GP Muthu has expressed his concern about the mistreatment he allegedly received from the ‘Connect’ team.

Anil Kapoor was a part of a panel discussion, in which Ayushmann Khurrana too attended. When Ayushmann recommended the panel to watch the 1967 Dileep Kumar’s film ‘Ram Aur Shyam’, Anil Kapoor suggested that the original is even better. ‘Ram Aur Shyam’ is a remake of the 1964 Telugu film ‘Ramudu Bheemudu’ which featured Sr. NTR in dual roles. Anil Kapoor stated that young actors should watch the NTR’s film to learn what acting is all about! And this definitely made the day for the audience of Telugu cinema!
