1. A Christmas in Vermont
Plot Description on IMDB: A company executive is tasked with liquidizing a small town outerwear manufacturer over the Christmas season.
You probably known Chevy Chase from the Christmas Vacation films but more recently he starred in A Christmas in Vermont. While the movie takes place in Vermont, WNY is the main filming location for this movie. In the trailer you can spot a clock that says “Ellicottville” and the main strip of shops in East Aurora.

2. The Best Man Holiday
Plot Description on IMDB: When college friends reunite after 15 years over the Christmas holidays, they discover just how easy it is for long-forgotten rivalries and romances to be reignited.
As a sequel to The Best Man (1999), this holiday version which came out in 2013 did most of its filming in Toronto but all the football scenes seen in the film were at Buffalo’s very own Bills Stadium!

3. A Christmas Princess
Plot Description on IMDB: Jessica is a struggling chef living in a trendy New York borough. Prince Jack, who’s in the city for his family’s annual Christmas charity dinner, finds himself in need of a last-minute chef for a royal event when he meets Jessica.
In just the trailer alone you can spot Chippewa (peep the old Mighty Taco in the background), The Black Sheep (RIP), Hotel Lafayette, and the Brisbane Building. See what other locations you can spot throughout the movie!

4. A Prince for Christmas
Plot Description on IMDB: Wanting to escape an arranged marriage, a European prince flees to the United States. There, he meets a struggling young waitress who may just be his one true love.
As part of the many movies that take place in East Aurora under director Fred Olen Ray, in the trailer you’ll spot Vidler’s 5 & 10 as well as other WNY attractions including the Park Country Club and the Attica & Arcade Railroad.

5. A Royal ChristmasEngagement
Plot Description on IMDB: Lauren, a hard-working advertising executive, begins to fall for Paul, a consultant she has been paired with to land a big account for the upcoming holiday season. Unbeknownst to Lauren and everyone else, Paul is actually Prince Edward Charles, European royalty in disguise as a commoner.
In the trailer for this movie, Lauren mentions conducting a product survey at the Winter Carolcade (which is a real-life event that happens in East Aurora). If you’ve never been, it truly feels like stepping into a holiday movie. Keep an eye out and you’ll also see the Aurora Theatre.

6. A Royal Christmas on Ice
Plot Description on IMDB: Looking to escape his Royal life, a dashing prince comes to the United States to start a business in a small town in upstate New York and winds up falling for a former Olympic ice skater.
A Royal Christmas on Ice is the most recent movie to be made in East Aurora, this time featuring owner of Vidler’s, Don Vidler. The movie just made its television premiere so be on the look out for the iconic knick knack shop when you watch it!
