Penelope Cruz has denied that Woody Allen gave her and Javier Bardem a bedroom scene video of the couple as a present for their wedding back in 2010.
There was a rumour that the director gave the couple a very unique kind of wedding gift, but Cruz denied that on Tuesday night.
“What gift?”, Cruz replied when the story came up during an appearance on ‘El Hormiguero’.
“No, he didn’t give me anything. What gift are you talking about?”
After presenter Pablo Motos explained that he was talking about the bedroom scene, Cruz revealed that the couple are still waiting for their gift.
“No, no, no, he told us that he would send it to us someday, but so far it hasn’t arrived,” Cruz explained.
“Because he left us [there] filming and he left. He couldn’t stand it and left. He left the building. It was a scene in which we had to kiss and he doesn’t like directing scenes.
“It was not a sex scene, it was a scene of a kiss. He left.
“Then, apparently, that shot lasted four or five minutes, and he said ‘someday I’ll send it to you’. But no, he hasn’t sent it to us yet.”
