Yet, with such interesting personalities, talents, and lifestyles, some viewers have pondered what other movies the Pixar characters might also do well in, finding that many suit different roles.

Although Carl missed his chance to explore, except for his trip to Paradise Falls, he still spent his life reading about other explorers’ remarkable exploits and the challenges they faced on their journeys. He was also well-versed in geography and navigation.
With such vast knowledge, Carl would have made an excellent aged mentor to heroes such as Indiana Jones. Jones was always looking for another quest that would lead him to valuable treasure at the end. With Carl’s help, Jones could have made even more exciting discoveries.
9 Wallace And Gromit Would Love Flik’s Inventions (Wallace And Gromit)
As a weird and wacky man with a love of inventions, Wallace from the British comedy duo Wallace and Gromit loved it when he got the chance to admire the creations of others. Unsurprised by his dog Gromit’s inventions, Wallace wouldn’t be bothered by Flik from A Bug’s Life being an ant. Instead, he would be eager to see what the insect had to show him next.
Thus, an unlikely partnership of human, canine, and bug would come about as the three learned to live in harmony. They would adore each other’s handiwork and even celebrate their mistakes, knowing full well that without errors, there would be no path forward for scientific discovery.
8 Remy Would Make A Great Chef In The Princess And The Frog (Ratatouille)
After hiring an alligator to play Jazz music, Tiana wouldn’t have any problems hiring a master chef in her kitchen, even if that chef was a rat. Tiana values talent and hard work, and Remy from Ratatouille has all that and more, loving to cook with his heart and soul.
The only problem Remy might have in The Princess and the Frog would be that he and Tiana view themselves as the head chef. However, if they could work out a healthy system to work together, then the pair would be unstoppable.
7 Dug Returns To His Master, Just Like The Pets In Homeward Bound (Up)
Many viewers are familiar with the heart-warming tale of Sassy, Chance, and Shadow as they try to find their way home against impossible odds in Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. Their dedication and love for their respective humans are not unlike the relationship that Up’s Dug has with Carl Frederickson, whom he chose as his new family.
Even when Carl angrily turned Dug away, Dug still returned to Carl because he loved him. If given a chance to crossover into the story of Homeward Bound, Dug would have been eager to prove himself as a good dog and to get everybody home safely.
6 Lightning McQueen Is The Fast And The Furious (Cars)
The Fast and the Furious series sets itself around fast placed street races, dangerous driving, and epic road stunts pulled off by the best of the best. Considering Lighting McQueen’s personality in the first Cars movie, he would fit right in with this series, taking risks, having fun, and competing to be the fastest racer alive.
Lightning’s arrogance and taste for danger would do him well alongside feature characters such as Dominic Toretto, Brian O’Connor, and Han Lue. Lightning might even take first place as the best driver of the series.
5 Wall-E Would Help The Citizens Of Robot City In Robots
Having been created to clean the planet, Wall-E was quite different from his model counterparts, as he developed a personality for collecting unique items and managing his own repairs. With love for all life, Wall-E would fit in with the main characters of the 2005 film Robots as they each strove to prove that life has meaning and that people shouldn’t be thrown away when they become dysfunctional.
Although Wall-E can’t say much and sometimes struggles to get his point across, the likes of Rodney Copperbottom, Fender, and Bigweld would all adore him and his repair skills. They would be eager to add another mechanical friend to their group.
4 Gabby Gabby & Her Dummies Were As Creepy As Chucky In Child’s Play (Toy Story 4)
Although Gabby Gabby from Toy Story 4 turned out to be an unloved doll who only wanted a family, many viewers found her creepy and unnerving, but not nearly as disturbing as the dummies she commanded. How they chased Woody and Forky under Gabby’s ruthless command was harrowing, especially for younger viewers.
Yet, if these characters moved to Child’s Play, a horror franchise centered around dolls and dummies, their malevolent movements would be much more appreciated. Working alongside Chucky, Gabby Gabby and her minions would have likely been unstoppable.
3 Merida Could Have Led The Scots In Braveheart (Brave)
Merida is a fierce warrior with excellent swordsmanship and unmatched in archery. Her parents trained her to take the throne, so she is also well-versed in diplomacy and public speaking. Proud of her heritage and people, it is undeniable that Merida would have led her people in the first Scottish war of independence, as depicted in the film Braveheart.
In the events of Brave, Merida fought for her right to live freely and make her own decisions. In Braveheart, she would fight for the same right for all Scots.
There have been a few Dungeons and Dragons films in the past, and fans are highly anticipating the upcoming movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Although this film hasn’t come out yet, it’s fair to say that Ian Lightfoot from Onward would do well within it as a wizard.
Having been trained by Barley to recognize every threat and ally of his favorite game, Quests of Yore, Ian unconsciously knows his way around a quest. Even though he is only a wizard in training, he would do his best to aid anyone lucky enough to call him their friend. With a strong heart and a learned love of adventure, Ian would flourish with a chance to use all he has learned on a real adventure.
1 Edna Mode Would Flourish In The Devil Wears Prada (The Incredibles)
The Incredibles’ Edna Mode and The Devil Wears Prada’s Miranda Priestly are similar characters. Both are at the top of their careers, neither suffers fools gladly, and both don’t care for their competition, trusting their work to speak for itself in the ruthless fashion world.
If placed in the same film, it would be difficult to tell whether Edna and Miranda would become an unstoppable team. They might work together to dominate the fashion industry. Or, they might become bitter rivals, hoping to topple the other’s empire, Edna with her designs and Miranda with her scathing reviews of what constitutes real fashion. Either way, it’s undeniable that Edna Mode belongs in The Devil Wears Prada.
