Rani Mukerji starring Mrs Chatterjee VS Norway is a true story on an Indian couple in Norway. The film revolves around an immigrant Indian mother, fighting a battle against the foster care system in the country to win the custody of her children. Directed by Ashima Chibber, the movie features Rani in another fearless character. The film will digitally release on Zee5.
Chakda Xpress
Chakda Xpress is a movie based on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami, focusing on her struggles and how she moved up the ladder of success. The sports biopic features Anushka Sharma in a key role and is directed by Prosit Roy. Produced by Karnesh Ssharma and Saurabh Malhotra, the film also features Renuka Shahani and Anshul Chauhan.
Dhak Dhak
Produced by Taapsee Pannu, under her production banner Outsiders Films and Viacom18 Studios, Dhak Dhak features an ensemble cast of four women, set to embark a journey on bikes. The first look of Dhak Dhak featured the lead actors riding bikes in traditional and western outfits. Dhak Dhak stars Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi.
Mrs Falani
Featuring Swara Bhasker in the lead, Mrs Falani is jointly directed by Manish Kishore and Madhukar Verma. The movie will see Swara essaying nine different roles in an anthology comprising nine stories. Mrs Falani focuses on portraying the struggles of small-town women, breaking barriers and trying to live life to the fullest.
Happy Teachers Day
The film solely dedicated to ‘Teachers’, Happy Teachers Day features Nimrat Kaur and Radhika Madan in key roles. The movie revolves around the issues and challenges that women face in society. Produced by Maddock Films, Happy Teachers Day is scheduled for a theatrical release, as per reports.
