Bollywood legendary actor Zeenat Aman grabbed the highlight of the iconic Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai as the actress made a stunning entry on the ramp, walking for designer Shahin Mannan.
The videos and pictures of Zeenat Aman walking on the ramp circulated on social media creating an awe moment as she was heavily appreciated for flaunting her confidence and being the showstopper of the evening.
The Lakme Fashion Week’s official Instagram handle shared her ramp walk where she was the center of attraction, wearing a red and black abstract-printed blazer top with black pants. She also paired black sunglasses with her look and flaunted her beautiful gray hair.
One social media user wrote, “Such a heart-warming moment.” While another user wrote, “Legend.” Many comments read, ‘wow’ upon seeing the veteran actor’s confidence and poise on the ramp.
Earlier, in an interview with News18, Zeenat Aman talked about her journey and said, “I started my career as a model, and over the years have walked on many runways. It’s exciting to be doing so again, while representing older women.”
She further added, “Some would say I’ve come full circle, and that fits in beautifully with Shahin’s concept. I enjoy Shahin’s quirky designs, and had faith that she would create a striking look for me.”
Zeenat Aman started her career as a model as she gained recognition for participating in Femina Miss and Miss Asia Pacific International in 1970 at the age of 19. She then took a turn and moved into the field of films in the same year and started with ‘The Evil Within’, ‘Hulchul’, but got her breakthrough in ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna.’
However, some of her best works were in ‘Yaadon Ki Baarat’, ‘Hum Kisi Se Kum Naheen’, Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ and ‘Don.’ She was last seen in 2019, in ‘Panipat’ co-starring Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The actress is all set to make her OTT debut with ‘Showsttoper.’
