Sarah Ali Khan is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. The actress is promoting her film Gas light in and out of town. She recently appeared on Shehnaaz Gill– leading show Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill. Sara and Shehnaaz were absolute goofballs on the show and talked about anything and everything under the sun. They also flirted with each other, which gave off a BFF energy. Well, many times Sara Ali Khan has been compared to her mother Armed Singh. Sarah is a carbon copy of her mother. So, will she remake her mother’s movies? Sarah responded with self-deprecating humor.
Sara Ali Khan mocks herself when asked if she will do a remake
Sara Ali Khan is making headlines in Entertainment News for her Gaslight stint. She appeared on Shehnaaz Gill’s show for the promotion of the same. And during their conversation, Shehnaaz asked Sara Ali Khan why she is not acting in a remake of any of her mother’s films. Sara is like Sara who pokes fun at herself and says, “Remake of the movie Father ki karke kya tehelka mach gaya, Love Aaj Kal” and then adds “Wapas thodi karungi aisa”. Shenaaz asks her what happened and Sara says it wasn’t good. Sara starred in Love Aaj Kal with Kartik Aaryan which was a dud.
Sara Ali Khan explains why she won’t star in remakes
Sara then explains that she will not remake any of her mother Amrita Singh’s films. When Shehnaaz asks why, Sara says that her mother has done so well and that she doesn’t feel like she can do it. When Shehnaaz explains that the mood of the films and the costumes and all that is really connected and insists that Sara does films like her mother. Sarah says she will try.
On the work front, Sara starred alongside Chitrangda Singh and Vikrant Massey in Gaslight, which was released on Disney Plus Hotstar on March 31.
