Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Dragon Chaitanya once made for an IT couple from the south film industry. They had a fairytale wedding in 2017. It was a lavish wedding that took place in Goa. But by 2021, differences began to creep in. They announced their split and left everyone shocked. They both moved on and concentrated on their work. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently making headlines for her upcoming film Yashoda. She also revealed myositis. While quite a few people from the industry wished her to get well soon, ex-husband Naga Chaitanya reportedly did the same.
Recent reports suggest that Naga Chaitanya and his father Nagarjuna have planned to meet Samantha Ruth Prabhu after she revealed that she has been diagnosed with myositis. But that couldn’t happen and then Naga Chaitanya called Samantha Ruth Prabhu to check on her health. This gave hope to all their fans who were wondering if they would team up for a project in the future.
An insider tells us that Samantha and Naga can join hands on a project as both are truly professionals. The insider says: “They know they will sell together and with the way he showed concern for her, he proved he still considers her a friend. They seem to be at a place where they can let bygones be bygones and work together professionally.” On Kafe With Karan 7, Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed that they are in a phase where they can’t even hang out together. She had said: “There are bad feelings like if you put us both in the same room, you have to hide sharp objects. So as of now, yeah.” But with everything that’s happened in the last few weeks, they certainly seem to have forgotten the past.
Well, ChaySam fans can keep their fingers crossed. There are many stars who were a couple in the past but are still friends. Chai-Sam could probably set an example.
