Why did Sai Pallavi reject Bhola Shankar?
Sai Pallavi was offered Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar. However, she rejected the film. She has reportedly been approached to play Chiranjeevi’s sister in the film. At an event, Chiranjeevi revealed the same. He joked that he was happy with Sai Pallavi’s decision not to play his sister on screen as he would love to do a romantic film with her. He stated that he would like to do a duet with her and if she had signed Bhola Shankar and played his sister, it would have foiled his plans. This left everyone surprised. Sai Pallavi then also responded to all the hype surrounding her decision. At the pre-premiere event of Love Story, Sai Pallavi stated that she was afraid of doing remakes and that’s why she didn’t sign Bhola Shankar. The film is a remake of the Tamil film Vedalam.
Why did Trisha Krishnan reject Acharya?
Apart from Sai Pallavi, Trisha Krishnan has also turned down an offer for a role in a film starring Chiranjeevi. She was reportedly offered Acharya, which also starred Ram Charan. Chiranjeevi had expressed shock over Trisha’s decision to quit the film. As reported by indiaherald.com, Trisha quit the film due to some personal reasons. She told Tamil Weekly, “I have nothing personal to turn down such a big offer. I was completely numb due to my personal problems and my mood was upset. I’m not in a stable position to shoot for a film and I don’t want to spoil such a big project with my presence. The unhappy mind can definitely be seen on the big screen. So I just declined the offer.” Earlier, some reports suggested that Trisha had opted out due to creative differences with the filmmakers.
