The Weinstein Jewish Community Center (JCC) has two upcoming events that will be sure to entertain audiences of all ages.
On March 16, the JCC will host “A Marvelous Evening with Caroline Aaron,” a special presentation featuring Richmond native Caroline Aaron, best known for her role as Shirley Maisel in Amazon Prime Video’s Emmy-winning series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Aaron has had a long career in acting and has appeared in several popular shows, including “Modern Family,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Aaron will be the featured speaker at the Adolf-Adams JCC Forum at the Weinstein JCC. Members can purchase tickets for $40, while non-members can purchase tickets for $50. More information and tickets are available on the JCC’s website.
The second event is a one-man retrospective play about theater legend Zero Mostel. “Zero Hour” is a story about a naive reporter who attempts to interview the famously volatile artist and prompts an explosion of memory, humor, outrage, and juicy backstage lore. The role of Zero Mostel is performed by Jason Marks, directed by Debra Clinton, and written by Jim Brochu.
The play will take place on March 30, April 1, and April 2, and tickets are available for $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Showtimes and tickets can be found here.
