Veteran producer Nitin Manmohan passes away after suffering cardiac arrest

Veteran film producer Nitin Manmohan died on Thursday after suffering a cardiac arrest in Mumbai, according to news agency ANI. He was taken to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Navi Mumbai on December 3 after suffering from a massive heart attack.

The veteran producer was reportedly in the hospital and on a ventilator for nearly 15 days. “He was admitted to the hospital last night due to cardiac issues. He came in very critical condition. He is in the ICU,” the official earlier told news agency PTI.

According to media reports, his friend and producer Kaleem Khan confirmed that Nitin Manmohan, who was known for backing movies such as “Bol Radha Bol” and “Laadla”, has passed away.

Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit tweeted condolences for the late producer saying, “Sorry to hear about the demise of well known film producer,Director , Writer Nitin Manmohan ji due to heart attack . It’s another loss to the film Industry. My heartfelt condolences to the family & near ones. Om Shanti.”

Nitin Manmohan is the son of late actor Manmohan, who featured in films such as “Brahmachari”, “Gumnaam” and “Naya Zamana”.
