Varun Dhawan has always made bold choices when it comes to his movies, be it October or Badlapur. The actor is once again all set to return to the silver screen essaying characters that are tough to play.

The actor is all set for his upcoming movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo that releases later this month. The movie will also star Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. Post this the actor will be seen in the horror comedy film Bhediya with Kriti Sanon.

In a recent interview with a leading magazine, the actor said, “I have not made easy choices, especially in the two films I am doing right now.” He also revealed that he is moving away from the stereotypical characters with body-hugging clothes and one-liners. He also revealed that he inferred from his personal life for the family drama Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Preparations for Bhediya also required him to spend a lot of time with dogs.

Speaking about his character in Jug Jugg Jeeyo, a source told a leading publication, “It’s a tale of two couples from different generations, entangled around the issues post marriage. The premise beautifully merges the generation gap and puts out a unique point of view about love, but with ample humour. JugJugg Jeeyo is more about families, and the bond a married son with his father and mother played Anil and Neetu.”
