Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set for the release of the southern film Ponniyin Selvan opposite Trisha who is a big fan of the beauty queen. However, Trisha Krishnan calls working with her challenging because she was not supposed to like her too much in the film. In her latest interaction, she was asked to share her working experience with Aishwarya and she said that luckily she got to meet and interact with her on the first day of the shoot. Trisha called her beautiful inside and said I don’t even need to say that. “The thing is, it was a challenge because we don’t have to like each other too much in this movie.” Having said that, Trisha even added that they bonded quite well on the sets.
Trisha, who can’t get over how gorgeous Aishwarya is, is even said to have had moments when Mani sir (Manni Ratnam) would say, “Listen, you’re talking too much, stop talking, I can’t have this friendship for my scene”. Trisha concluded that it was an honor to work with Aishwarya. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back on screen after a 4 year sabbatical and the trailer of the film has left the fans highly impressed. Talking about working with Mani Ratnam in Ponniyin Selvan, she said that he is my guru and always thanks him for this opportunity again. and called working with Mani Ratnam her teacher and said she would be her student for life.
Ponniyin Selvan is a magnum opus where Aishwarya and Trisha are the leading ladies and are opposite each other in the film. The film also stars Vikram and Sobhita Dhulipala in prominent roles. The visuals in the trailer are mesmerizing and fans can’t stop raving over Aishwarya’s ethereal beauty.
