NETIZENS REACT TO KANGANA’S ‘STOP WESTERNISATION’ TWEET

Kangana Raanut took to Twitter on Thursday and shared a video of Riley Gaines, a University of Kentucky graduate and a swimmer, in which she talked against the NCAA and the discrimination female swimmers face in the locker room. Urging Indians to “stop the westernisation of our civilization,”, Kangana wrote, “Family/financial support, women don’t want to have children anymore in this new gender drama is becoming a pandemic there. That society is on the verge of collapse, we don’t need to imitate those who meet parents for weekend dinners and make them pay for half the bill. Disgusting.”

Many netizens reacted to Ranaut’s tweet and reminded her of the clothes she usually wears. Reacting to her tweet, one said, “Your last movie showed you as fully westernized, except for your language, which remained Indian, but look at your attire in that movie and not even just movie look at your attire during promotion of your Lock Up serial.” Another wrote, “It has already started here, sweetie. And there’s no way you can stop this.”

ADIPURUSH NEW POSTER BECOMES MOST-LIKED WITHIN HOURS OF RELEASE

The makers of Adipurush launched the divine poster of the movie on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami earlier in the morning, March 30. Within hours of its launch, the fans showered praise and adulation across platforms. The audience gave a big thumbs up to this new poster, which depicts Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh, and Devdatta Nage bowing down to them as Bajrang. Not only that, Prabhas’ solo Instagram post has already garnered 1 million + likes, making it the most liked poster shortly after its divine launch. Adipurush is releasing globally on June 16, 2023.

ALIA SENDS GIFTS FOR SONAM KAPOOR’S SON VAYU

Actress Sonam Kapoor took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday and shared a glimpse of the gifts her son Vayu received from Alia Bhatt. The gifts included a blue and white envelope with Vayu written on it. A box that had a bunch of colourful t-shirts with animal prints Sharing the photo of the gifts, Soanma wrote, “Cute, thank you.” She also tagged Alia Bhatt and her brand Ed-a-Mamma. Alia too reposted Sonam’s post on her gram. Sonam’s son Vayu was born last year in August.

THE ELEPHANT WHISPERERS GUNEET MONGA AND KARTIKI GONSALVES MEET PM MODI

Tamil-language short documentary The Elephant Whisperers bagged an Oscar in the Best Documentary category, making all Indians proud. Directed by Kartiki Gonsalves and co-produced by Guneet Monga, the documentary shows the precious bond between a couple and an orphaned baby elephant, Raghu. Meanwhile, after returning to India with the Oscar trophy, Guneet and Kartiki met PM Narendra Modi. Sharing a few pictures from their meeting with PM Modi, Guneet tweeted, “The cinematic brilliance and success of ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ has drawn global attention as well as acclaim. Today, I had the opportunity to meet the brilliant team associated with it. They have made India very proud. @guneetm @EarthSpectrum.”
