Shahrukh Khan starrer Pataan did record business at the box office. The action thriller lifted the theater economy, which suffered from the pandemic. Pathaan became a blockbuster hit within a week of its release. The biggest factor for the film was the reunion of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan as Karan Arjun. Fans went crazy over their massive scene in YRF’s spy thriller. Siddharth Anand, who directed the film, reacted to the big collaboration with them and revealed that one scene made Salman think.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, the director talks about the reunion of Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. Bollywood’s Bhaijaan had a brief cameo in Pathaan with King Khan but made a big impact. Fans of the two biggest superstars have been drooling over their encounter on the big screen. The director revealed that there was one particular scene in the film that left the actor in shock and surprise.
Talking about the reunion, Siddharth Anand said it was nostalgic for him too. For last run in the train scene he told Salman Khan to shout “bhaag Pathaan bhaag” and told him to do it like “bhaag Arjun bhaag by Karan Arjun”, the director added that it was not in the script and he had to convince Salman to did . Anand revealed that Khan asked him if he was serious about it, but he did it when the director asked him to do it. Siddharth further praised the actor for being like clay. He said that Salman is so cute and just needs love and pampering. He got a lot of that from me and did exactly what the director told him to do.
Pathan is an action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan playing the RAW agent, the film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead role. Pathan, released on January 25, earned Rs 1,043.37 crore at the box office. It is part of Yash Raj Films spy universe and with this Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will be reuniting for Tiger 3.
