Huge tamil movie star Dhanush is returning to the big screen relatively quickly after the release of his last film, the romcom, Tiruchitrambalam. This time he came back with Tamil movie, Naane Varuveana psychological thrillerdirected by famous tamil director Selvaraghavanwhich was also released in Telugu under the heading of Nene Vastuna. Dhanush K Raja plays a dual role in the film and his performance as well as the film are receiving abundant praise from all quarters. In fact, many are hailing it as one of Dhanush’s best performances of all time, which is high praise for an actor of varied sterling acting credentials.

Now, the last we hear of OTT the Naane Varuvean deal is that OTT rights as the Dhanush starrer was sold within hours of it hitting the theatres. Of course, there were talks of the same before its theatrical release, but according to a report in entertainment news website 123 Telugu, the deal was sealed for a whopping ₹30-35 crore by the makers and the streaming giant after witnessing both the critical reception, so is the audience response to the morning shows. All indications are that Naane Varuvean is enjoying a good run at the theatres, followed by Said OTT platform to be confident in the successful digital implementation as well.

So which is the OTT platform that has bagged Dhanush’s highly desired starrer Naane Varuvean. Well, it is Amazon Prime it sealed the deal to stream the Selvaraghavan directorial, starring Indhuja Ravichandran and Elli AvrRam, after its theatrical release. Of course, according to the new guidelines set by Tamil Film Producers Councilit will be a good 5-6 weeks before that happens.
