New York Fashion Week has sprung back into action to present a fresh set of AW23 collections.
And after last season saw New York attract it’s starriest front rows in years, expectations were high when events began on February 9.
Friday saw proceedings pick up with the Rodarte show, the romantic label which boasts a cult following of A-listers. This season, the front row was lead by Natasha Lyonne, the actress famed for her roles in Orange Is the New Black and Russian Doll and a long term BFF of Chloë Sevigny, who was sat by Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson.
Joining the pair was London’s own Alexa Chung, who took her place alongside the Editor and socialite Derek Blasberg, and the American actress Karthyn Newton.
That evening, Prabal Gurang’s catwalk was the ticket to secure as the likes of Nicky Hilton Rothschild joined Instagram’s Head of Fashion Eva Chen and singer Kelsea Ballerini gathered to watch the show.
Jonathan Simkhai’s new collection also drew in a starry crowd counting NYFW royalty Julia Fox and American socialite Olivia Palermo. They cheered on Emily Ratajkowski who closed the show.
Saturday’s best F’row was swept up by Proenza Schouler. First came Sienna Miller and her daughter Marlowe Sturridge, who were later joined by US Vogue’s Anna Wintour. Elsewhere, Marc Jacobs arrived wearing a standout Saint Laurent look, joining The White Lotus’ Meghann Fahy, Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star Stephanie Shepherd, and dancer Maddie Ziegler in watching the collection.
