The best Somerset local produce, cheeses, ciders, wines, meat and fish, all in beautifully laid out stalls leading up to the glorious St Catherine’s artisan quarter with its cobbled streets and arty vibe better than anything you would find in Notting Hill.

Lots of local independent traders have stalls at the Frome independent, amazing jewellery and antiques as well as the very best vintage clothes.

But it is the atmosphere we all go for.

It happens on the first Sunday of every month and it is not to be missed.

If the sun is shining the cobbled streets of Frome will be lined with people basking in the sunshine, nibbling hot and cold snacks and drinking a a delicious sparkling Somerset cider or something similar.

There really is nothing like it.

But it really is a great day out, all the pubs have their garden furniture out, there is great food on offer and you go home with your shopping bags full of food, drinks, clothes and almost anything including the kitchen sink.
