Actress Jennifer Mistry Bansival has accused Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) producer Asit Kumar Modi, project manager Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj of sexual harassment. The trio denied the allegation, claiming she was fired from the show due to misconduct. Asit Modi also said that she will take legal action against Jennifer as she is trying to defame him and the show. The ongoing feud only escalated when Jennifer spoke out against producer Asit Modi and company in a recent interview. She talked about the conflicts on the set of the show, co-stars speaking against her and more. Jennifer also revealed that Nathu Kaka aka late actor Ganashyam Nayak was also molested.
Jennifer Mistry Bansival told Pinkvilla that the soul of her brother and Nattu Kaka aka Ghanashyam Nayak gave her the strength to raise her voice against the misbehavior of TMKOC makers. “Nattu Kaka ko bhi bohot pareshan kiya hai gaya hai (Even Nattu Kaka was bullied),” she added.
Ghanashyam Nayak was part of the star cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah from the beginning. After his tragic death in October 2021, Kiran Bhatt was roped in to play the role of Nathu Kaka.
Meanwhile, Jennifer abruptly left TMKOC after being a part of the show for almost 15 years.
