Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is the big Bollywood release of the week. Reviews of the film from most critics have been glowing. The general public also enjoyed it immensely. Jaya Bachchan plays the role of Dhanlaxmi Randhawa, who is the matriarch of the family and the CMD of Dhanlaxmi Sweets. The lady is completely conditioned by the patriarchy and makes bahu’s life hell. People love her in the movie.
We know that Jaya Bachchan has always done well in Karan Johar movies. Be it Kal Ho Naa Ho or Kabhi Khushu Kabhi Gam, she has been the suffering submissive wife. But in RARKPK she is damn dominant.
