Sumona Chakravarti is popular for her presence on TV, but she kick started her acting journey with a Bollywood movie. Nearly 10-years-old, Sumona shared the frame with Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala in their Bollywood film ‘Mann’.

The actress faced the camera as a child actor in the 1999 release and recently a clip of her performance went viral on social media. Confirming her presence in ‘Mann’, Sumona posted, “Since everyone is asking if it’s me. Yup!” and she further added, I was just a kid yaar.” Sumona Chakravarti looks absolutely adorable in this viral video, which also features Manisha Koirala. Directed by Indra Kumar, ‘Mann’ also starred Anil Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore in pivotal roles.

Recently, rumours were rife that Sumona Chakravarti is set to tie the knot with actor Samrat Mukerji, who is Sharbani Mukherjee’s brother and Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Tanisha and Ayan Mukerji’s cousin. Clarifying about the same, Sumona had told ETimes these were just 10-year old stories from social media. Speaking about Samrat, she added that he was a friend and that she didn’t like to talk about her personal life.
