Television star Gaurav Chopra in a strong note criticized the makers. He wrote on Twitter that this kind of manipulation can be avoided. Gaurav Chopra said that everyone has seen proprietary friendships in school and there is no need to malign Sumbul Tukir Khan. Fans are also upset about a clip in which Tina Datta said something quite offensive. She hints that Sumbul has a habit of checking Shalin Bhanot again and again.
