Looks like Pathaan might see some revision. According to a news report in a leading national channel, the film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone might have some twerks. As we know there is a huge controversy surrounding the song Besharam Rang. Religious organizations in some parts of India have raised questions about the orange color of the swimwear worn by Deepika Padukone. As we know, saffron is associated with Hindutva and the Hindu religion. There are also some issues with the name Pathaan. Looks like the film is now being reviewed by the CBFC and they have told the makers to change some things.

India Today made the news about it. It seems the CBFC wants a revised version from the makers of Pathaan. They have told them to adhere to the religious sentiments of the people. As we know, many holy seers and others have threatened to burn down cinema halls in cities if they show Pathaan. Deepika Padukone is not new to such controversy. We saw Padmaavat’s name coming up in 2018.
An official statement on the same from Yash Raj Films is pending. The new version should be submitted before the release in January 2023. Besharam Rang crossed 100 million on YouTube. The sizzling chemistry between Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan is the talk of the town. The actress looks super glamorous in the swimwear. The song was shot in Spain. Pathaan is an action thriller. The trailer should be over 2.30 minutes and full of adrenaline pumping action moments.
It remains to be seen how the makers challenge the CBFC in court. A lot of money is involved in the film.
