After scoring success with Major earlier this year, actor Adivi Sesh once again won hearts with his spine-chilling thriller Hit – The Second Case, which hit theaters on December 2. The film also received rave reviews and scored double figures at the box office. And it looks like Samantha Ruth Prabhu is also keen on participating in the HIT franchise.
One Twitter user suggested the idea of having female protagonists in future installments of the HIT franchise. The user suggested Samantha’s name and the tweet caught the attention of Adivi Sesh.
The actor immediately reached out to Samantha on Twitter and asked her about her thoughts on joining the HIT franchise. In no time, Samantha imagined herself playing the role of a bad cop and replied to the actor that the idea was quite intriguing and also congratulated him on the positive response to HIT 2.
Nasty cop…sound fun?
Congrats on your super HIT?? @AdiviSesh ..always cheering for you? https://t.co/qugCUzPGrb— Samantha (@Samanthaprabhu2) December 2, 2022
Meanwhile, HIT 2’s box office numbers are quite impressive. On the first day of its release, the Adivi Sesh starrer managed to pull audiences into the theaters and earned Rs 11.27 crore for its Telugu version. The Hindi version of HIT 2 is just around the corner for release and it remains to be seen if it gets the same response.
Samantha, on the other hand, is on cloud nine because of the love that is being showered on her recently released film Yashoda. She wrote a heartfelt note to her fans and thanked them for their support. She also expressed her gratitude to the director and co-stars of the film. She plays a surrogate mother who falls victim to a deep-rooted medical fraud.
