Shaakuntalam and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are trending and grabbing headlines in Entertainment News lately. Well, the actress is promoting the epic love story film as it gets closer to its release. And as part of her promotional campaign, Samantha also shared some crazy and interesting trivia from the sets of Shaakuntalam. First, she shared that she had an imprint of colorful jewelry all over her arm because she found out she was allergic to flowers. However, Sam shot for the film without any complaints for six months.
Samantha also shares that she has dubbed for Shaakuntalam in three languages i.e. Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. The actress said that this is crazy and wonders how anyone does it. Samantha Ruth Prabhu also shared that she dubbed for the film in her sleep, though only as a joke. Samantha also shares that rabbits are not as cute as they seem or are perceived to be. She recalls being bitten by a rabbit while shooting for Shaakuntalam.

Shaakuntalam deet
Talking about Shakuntalam, the film is directed by Gunasekhar and is based on the popular play Abhignana Shakuntalam by Kalidasa. The film stars Dev Mohan as Dushyant opposite Samanath’s Shakuntala. The film also features an ensemble cast of Sachin Kedekar, Mohan Babu, Aditi Balan, Prakash Raj, Madhu, Gautami, Kabir Bedi Jishu Sengupta and others. Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha also has a small role in the film.
The trailer of Shaakuntalam was released in January this year. The film also suffered some delay. Now out on April 14th.
