And as part of her promotional campaign, Samantha also shared some crazy and interesting trivia from the sets of Shaakuntalam. First, she shared that she had an imprint of colorful jewelry all over her arm because she found out she was allergic to flowers. However, Sam shot for the film without any complaints for six months. Shaakuntalam deet

Talking about Shakuntalam, the film is directed by Gunasekhar and is based on the popular play Abhignana Shakuntalam by Kalidasa. The film stars Dev Mohan as Dushyant opposite Samanath’s Shakuntala. The film also features an ensemble cast of Sachin Kedekar, Mohan Babu, Aditi Balan, Prakash Raj, Madhu, Gautami, Kabir Bedi Jishu Sengupta and others. Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha also has a small role in the film.

The trailer of Shaakuntalam was released in January this year. The film also suffered some delay. Now out on April 14th.
