This week’s big Bollywood release is Someone’s brother, someone’s life. The film is Salman Khan’s Eid treat for his fans. The occasion is always reserved for Salman Khan, but for the past few years, Dabangg Khan missed the opportunity to release his films on Eid. But this year is different as Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has hit the theatres. It has an ensemble cast with Pooja Hegde in the lead role. The stars have made sure to create as much buzz as possible around the film to get off to a good start at the box office. And the day one collections have arrived!
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan day 1 collection box office
According to Box Office India, Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has collected approximately Rs 14 crore nett. These are early estimates and actual numbers are yet to emerge. Many reports suggest that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan earned approximately Rs 15 crore on its opening day. Salman Khan’s film seems to be off to a decent start at the box office and the numbers are only expected to grow considering that today is Eid. The film reportedly performed better in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan and Nizam / Andhra. But it should be taken in multiplexes. The report further suggests that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has taken the fourth biggest opening in the post-pandemic era. It is right after Shahrukh Khan’s Pathaan, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi. Salman Khan’s weekend collections are expected to keep getting better and better.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also marks the Bollywood debut of Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari. Fans of both the divas appreciated their performance in the film. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film also stars Raghav Juyal, Jassi Gill and Siddharth Nigam. South star Venkatesh Daggubati plays Pooja Hegde’s brother in the film.
