BENGALURU: The spat between the women IAS and IPS officers have worsened in Karnataka. After IPS officer Roopa Moudgil released the private pictures of Rohini IAS, the bureaucratic feud has worsened. Roopa had yesterday shared a screen shot of Rohini deleting her own pictures shared to the WhatsApp of a male IAS officer. However, Rohini retorted that she has nothing to do with Roopa professionally and that civil servants should show respect.
The Karnataka government is all set to take drastic action after the fight between the two escalated. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had responded that it was a personal matter, but as the matter has gone out of hand, action is likely to be taken. The state is in an embarrassing situation as the grudge of the two officials holding a responsible position has gone to the extent of releasing private visuals.
Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, who is enraged over the incident has hinted to take drastic action. The fight between the two witnessed for the past two days has put all the officers to shame. Roopa is the managing director of Karnataka Handicrafts Development Co-operative and Rohini is the commissioner of Hindu Religious Institutions.
