Ratan Rajput is best known as Laali from Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. The actress is now a regular vlogger on her YouTube channel. Ratan Raajputh has a lot of good content on his channel where he takes us to the heart of India and also gives us an insight into life in Mumbai. In her recent video, she talks about how a bad experience on the casting couch discouraged her for a month when she came to Mumbai for an acting career. She said she moved to Mumbai 14 years ago and met this man in his 60s who insulted her looks and dressing style. He said she should get a complete makeover which could cost over two lakh rupees. The man told Ratan Rajput that he would not invest in her unless she accepted him as her “godfather” and “friend”. He said if she agreed, he was really thinking about spending.
Ratan Rajput says she was surprised to hear such things. She told him that he was old enough to be her father and if they could be “friends”. Ratan said she took him as a mentor and will follow his advice. The guy seemed to lose his cool and said he wouldn’t do anything for free. Ratan Rajput remembered the line which read, “If you want to enter the acting world, stop all this drama. Be a little smart.”
What she reveals next is even more shocking. Ratan Rajput said that when she said he was old enough to be her father, the man retorted by saying that if his daughter was an actress, he had slept with her too. Out of shock, she left the place. This keeps Ratan Rajput away from Bollywood and trying to look for film offers.
Ratan Rajput said she used to get upset every time she remembered this bad experience. She says that if he comes across now, she really did beat him with a shoe for his disgusting comments about his daughter. Ratan Rajput signed off by saying that now no one would dare to speak to her in such an unpleasant manner.
