Bigg Boss OTT is one of the most anticipated projects in reality TV right now. The first season was a huge hit and had a director Karan Johar as a host and mentor to the contestants on the web version of Bigg Boss. Recently there are reports about this popular Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh had taken Karan as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 2. Yes, there were rumors that the powerhouse will replace Karan Johar as the host for the second season, but it seems the reports are false.
Ranveer will not host Bigg Boss OTT 2
A trade source informed that the report of Ranveer Singh taking over hosting of Bigg Boss OTT is completely false and has not been fact-checked. The source added that nothing like that is in the pipeline between Ranveer and the makers of Bigg Boss OTT 2. “Ranveer is currently too busy with his film commitments and is all set to start working on exciting marquee films which will be announced in due course of time.” , the source said.
Ranveer Singh as host
We have seen Ranveer Singh hosting various awards. He even hosted a TV show called The Big Picture, which marked his TV debut as a host. And if Ranveer Singh had taken up the hosting duties of Bigg Boss OTT 2, things would surely have worked in favor of the makers as Ranveer is known as OTT. He would surely spice things up in the house as a host. However, it looks like that won’t happen. Well, earlier there were rumors that Karan too might not return. However, there is no confirmation of this.
Ranveer Singh’s work front
Ranveer Singh is busy with his professional commitments which include Rohit Shetty’s Circus which also stars Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez. It has Karan Johar’s Takht which is an ensemble. He will be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani directed by Karan Johar. Moreover, he reportedly owns Baiju Baura and Shankar’s untitled film.
