Ranbir Kapoor’s movie with Luv Ranjan put on halt due to fire accident

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s forthcoming film has been put on halt due to a recent fire accident. The Luv Ranjan directorial was much awaited since the announcement of the film. For quite some time, the stars have been filming in various places for the movie. A few days ago, the set for the movie at Chitrakoot Studios, Andheri West, Mumbai, caught fire, causing enormous damage to the filmmakers.

A source reported to Etimes, “The fire that happened on Luv Ranjan’s set has resulted in another delay in the shooting of this film. But then Ranbir’s dates were with Animal and he had to go for that shoot. Luv’s film will now be completed later.”

In a video shared by a paparazzi account a few days ago showing the fire accident.

Due to the tragic accident, there has been a delay in the shoot. Hence, Ranbir began filming Animal with director Sandeep Vanga Reddy. Even though only one song needs to be shot, the Shamshera actor will only join Luv’s movie when Animal is through filming.

Recently, the movie had a schedule in Europe, and as of right now, just the special song needs to be cut. But there have been a few bumps along the road during this final phase of filming. Reportedly, this song would include over 200 dancers and be choreographed by Bosco Martis.

On the work front, Ranbir is all set to appear alongside Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the much-anticipated movie Bramhastra. The movie is directed by Ayan Mukherjee and also stars Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. It is set to hit the theatres on September 9.
