SS Rajamouli blockbuster movie RRR not only won hearts in India but also left a mark globally. The film was a big success in the US as well. Now before Oscar ceremony that will take place next month, Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s film will be released on March 3 in US theaters ahead of the Oscars 2023. The song Naatu Naatu from RRR was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song this year.
RRR music director MM Keeravaani is now in the US with lyricist Chandra Bose. Naatu Naatu song comes at an important time in Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s life. The beats of the song gave her worldwide recognition. It is interesting to note that RRR was not selected as India’s official entry at the Oscars. Earlier during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rajamouli revealed that it was disappointing. However, he and his clan are not ones to sit around and wonder why it didn’t happen.

Talking about Ram Charan, he is all set for the Oscars which are the biggest awards in Hollywood. A few days before he left for Los Angeles to attend the 95th Academy Awards, he was spotted at the Hyderabad airport wearing a black outfit for his flight and was also barefoot. Talking about the actor, he had a good year both personally and professionally. He was also seen at the Golden Globe Awards with Jr. NTR and RRR director SS Rajamouli. Their film was also nominated in the Best Foreign Language category. At the 80th Golden Globe Awards, the song Naatu Naatu won the award for Best Original Song. Speaking of the 2023 Oscars, it’s all set to take place on March 12 at the Dolly Theater in Los Angeles.
