Jailer brought a lot of happiness to the Tamil film industry. The film has grossed Rs 600 crore worldwide and theaters are still earning Rs one to two crore daily with the Rajinikanth actioner. After a seemingly boring film like Annatthe, he is back in full form. The Jailer was made on a budget of 200 to 240 crores. Apart from Rajinikanth, there were cameos from Mohanlal and Dr Shivaraj Kumar aka Shivana. In fact, people have loved Shivana as Hukum in the film. Jailer: Did Rajinikanth pocket Rs 210 crore for the film?
In this picture, we can see Kalanithi Maran handing over a check to Rajinikanth. They seem to have met him at the Sun Pictures office. According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, there is a check of Rs 100 crore from City Union Bank. It was part of the superstar’s profit sharing. If this is true, then Rajinikanth has received Rs 210 crores. This is Rs 10 crore more than what Shah Rukh Khan made after the super success of Pathaan. Thalaiva fans are excited about the news.
