Private jets, helicopter travels and luxury car; Jacqueline Fernandez receives from conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar | Hindi Movie News

Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar Rs 20o crore extortion case is currently being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate. Names of several Bollywood actresses have been linked to the case, especially Jacqueline Fernandez. Now, the ‘Kick’ actress has told the agency that Sukesh had hired private jets and helicopters for her travel.

When ED questioned the actress if she had met Sukesh in person, the actress shared they met first in June last year.

According to the Indiatoday report, the actress told ED that the conman had asked her to come down to Chennai for the funeral of his uncle. Before that, they had been in touch through WhatsApp calls.

She stated that Sukesh sent a private for her to travel from Mumbai to Chennai. She added that he didn’t receive her at the airport, but had sent his assistant. He arrived sometime later and they had lunch together in the dining room and chatted for a while in the living room. The following day, they had breakfast together and dropped her at the airport. The actress returned to Mumbai in a private jet. She revealed that all expenses were taken care of by Sukesh.

A week later, the actress met him for the second time. She travelled to Chennai with her friend on a private jet and returned in the same.

The actress also revealed that she visited Kerala twice and travel was arranged by Sukesh in a private jet. From the airport, she arrived at the hotel in a helicopter. The actress stated that both the trips were personal.

ED also questioned the actress if she knew who owned the jets and helicopters. The actress shared that Sukesh told her that he was the owner of them.

Jacqueline also told ED that she had received a Mini Cooper from Sukesh, however, she returned the same as she didn’t want to accept the car.

Meanwhile, the federal agency has issued a provisional order under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) for attaching fixed deposits worth Rs 7.12 crore and Rs 15 lakh cash of the 36-year-old actor as it called these funds as “proceeds of crime”.

“Sukesh Chandrashekhar had given various gifts worth Rs 5.71 crore to Jacqueline Fernandez from the proceeds of crime generated by criminal activities including extortion.”

“Chandrashekhar had put Pinky Irani, his long time associate and co-accused in this case to deliver the said gifts to her,” the ED said in a statement.

On the work front, the actress will next feature in ‘Ram Setu’ co-starring Akshay Kumar.
