The KGF franchise starring Yash and Rishabh Shetty, Kantara, are two projects produced by Hombale Films that have emerged as breakthroughs in the Indian cinematic landscape. Although the production company has a huge year ahead with four films slated for release next year, the makers have promised that Prabhas starrer Salaar will be bigger than any other film made so far. Sharing the latest on the shooting of Salaar, Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda, the founders of Hombale Films were quoted by Bollywood Hungama, “Salaar will be shot by January. Almost 80 percent of the pictures are done. the climax remains, which we will conclude in January. It’s going to be bigger than any other film we’ve done so far.” Also Read – South News Trending Today: Prabhas dodges rift rumors with Adipurush director Om Raut; Ram Charan-Upasana turns Secret Santa into a family reunion and more

With Prabhas’ Salaar scheduled to release in September 2023, the production company is also planning to release Fahadh Faasil’s Dhoomam next year. Srimurali-starrer Bagheera will also release before the end of 2023. The next film lined up is Tyson with Prithviraj Sukumaran and the film is expected to start shooting in 2024. KGF Chapter 1 which released in 2018 opened a new market for films from down south, more so for films from Karnataka. The country had earlier delivered top-rated films by directors like Girish Kasaravali, it was KGF that re-introduced Canadian cinema to a new generation of cinema-goers and also tasted widespread commercial success.

Kantara, which was released earlier this year in September, strengthened the pan-Indian grip of Canadian cinema. While on a surface level, these stories may appear to be breakthrough successes, a little scratching the surface will reveal that the reason these stories succeed is their rootedness, a philosophy that the makers of both films, Hombale Films, espouse.

Prithviraj recently introduced his new character from Salaar on his birthday. His character of Vardharaja will match that of Prabhas in the film and will create a great drama that fans will adore.

After the box office success of KGF and Kantara franchise, Prashanth Neel and Homebale’s next film Salaar has become one of the most awaited films in the Indian film industry as it reunites the director with Baahubali star Prabhas. It also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Yaswari Rao, Shriya Reddy and others in the pivotal role. The film is releasing in India in 5 languages.
