Fans that attended Weekend 1 of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio on April 14-16 had an advantage over the Weekend 2 crowd on April 21-23: The weather.

It was significantly cooler the first weekend and a lot of fans wore black, strappy fits, cowboy boots, wide brim hats and so much sequins and fringe.

Weekend 2 fans definitely wore less clothing due to the heat and opted for some bathing suit-style outfits in bold neon and metallic colors. Floral patterns were also a big deal and footwear was more casual. There were more costumes worked into the fashion landscape of the event, too. Guests were spotted wearing inflatable costumes that related to music moments created by artists like Katy Perry and Friday headliner Bad Bunny.

Artists across all of the stages had also definitely inspired some of the more creative looks including clothing with very strategic cutouts, glitter makeup and glued-on face jewels.
