Pankaj Tripathi is one of the unconventional actors of today’s generation. He is a brilliant performer, who adds his heart and soul to every character he plays. Apart from his successful professional life, Panjkaj is gem of a person in his personal life too. From calling his wife, Mridula Tripathi ‘man of the house’ to dismissing sexist opinions about men, Pankaj has proved that he has a heart of gold. Now, he shared why he and his wife would never be able to take a loan and buy a fancy home.
After hustling for quite a few years in the Hindi film industry, he had got his breakthrough by his antagonistic performance in the Gangs Of Wasseypur franchise. For the unversed, the actor had tied the knot with the woman of his dreams, Mridula Tripathi on January 16, 2004. The lovebirds were blessed with a daughter, Aashi in 2006. And with Mridula’s stable teaching career, Pankaj had pursued his dream of acting.

In a recent interview with The Times Of India, Pankaj Tripathi shared that he and his wifey, Mridula is living in Mumbai for many years now, but they have no aspirations for extravagant assets and luxurious lifestyles. Coming from a humble background, Pankaj and Mridula are content with whatever they have. Pankaj can be quoted as saying:
“I never felt the need to pursue a flamboyant lifestyle or a luxurious life.”
Further in the conversation, Pankaj shared that being a farmer’s son, he would never be able to buy fancy cars or a bungalow. He recalled his childhood days in Bihar when his family did not even had a television at their home. And because of Pankaj’s past experience, he understands the ‘value and vice’ of money. He stated that to be happy, one does not need to have an extravagant amount of money. For Pankaj, the idea of leading a happy life is to be happy or comfortable in life. In his words:
“I am the son of a farmer and growing up in a remote village in Bihar, we had barely seen any money. My parents didn’t even have a television at home. I believe you don’t need an extravagant amount of money to be happy or comfortable in life. I always try to stay happy with what I have.”

Earlier, on January 16, 2022, the doting husband had posted a series of pictures with his wife, Mridula, to wish her on their anniversary. In the caption, Pankaj had penned down a heartfelt note as they had celebrated 17 years of togetherness after their marraige. The Mirzapur actor had written:
“Satrah saal huye aaj parinay sutra mein. Iss sukhad yatra ki kuch yaadein. Dhanyabaad.”
On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi was last seen in Bachchhan Paandey opposite Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon.
