Pakistani actress REACTS to Javed Akhtar’s comments on 11/26 Mumbai terror attack

Javed Akhtar was in Pakistan and since he is in the neighboring country he has been making news everywhere. The lyricist reportedly took a dig at Pakistan while talking about the horrific 26/11 Mumbai terror attack that took place at the Taj Hotel and many different locations in Mumbai. His statement did not go down well with many people in the Pakistani entertainment industry. One of the actresses Sabur Ali criticized the lyricist for his remark about Pakistan. In her post, she mentioned that those who cannot respect themselves cannot be respected by anyone else. Sabour, in her post, also mentioned that she agreed that there were no boundaries for art, but that boundaries should be drawn for self-respect and value. She also felt insulted and revealed that a person comes to another’s house and disrespects him. In her post, Sabur also mentioned that people in her country have big hearts. Sabur also revealed that literate people who are also talented do not respect the talent of others. Saboor is of the opinion that Javed passed on alleged derogatory comments against Pakistan. Calling it an act of shame, Sabur further said that someone has insulted your own nation, soil and you celebrate it with joy. In Urdu she also mentioned that there were many entertainers in Pakistan who had no money and ended their lives as they could not afford health facilities. For the unprepared, Javed talks about how the terrorists responsible for the 2008 Mumbai attacks still roam freely in Pakistan.
