The Northeast International Fashion Week – 2022 (NEIFW) is scheduled to take place on November 12 and 13 at the Northeast Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporations campus Pamohi, Gorchuk in Guwahati.
The opening theme of NEIFW is titled, “Fashion for all”, whereby apart from designer shows the event will provide a platform for kids, teens and ladies who are interested in fashion.
The 7th season of the event will have doctors of Assam associated to create awareness for breast cancer along with a seminar and exclusive fashion show, a press release here said.
The social theme of the event previously was for the Old-Age home; Eye and body organ donations, Plant trees and protecting the environment, giving shelter and protecting the animals along with international NGO PETA and many more animal welfare organizations.
A host of aspiring fashion designers from all over northeast states and also from neighbouring countries like Nepal and Bhutan, will feature at the event.
The first-day fashion show will be opened by internationally famous prominent designers of India, Rajdeep Ranawat.
