Nadia Bartel certainly made her mark on Australian Fashion Week on Wednesday.
The designer and former WAG, 38, showcased her brand Henne, for only the second time during Fashion Week this year.
The mother-of-two looked incredible in a skintight and off-the-shoulder white top, which she teamed with a silk white skirt and heels at her event, the most star-studded of the week.
The runway show was held at the St Barnabas Anglican Church in Sydney’s Ultimo and was one of the biggest shows yet, with best friend and WAG Rebecca Judd attending.
Also on the star-studded guest list was former NRL WAG Phoebe Burgess, Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis and her mother Mary, and model Erin Holland.
Bec Judd, 40, looked incredible as she showed off her trim figure in a steel blue top which she teamed with baggy matching trousers and heels.
Phoebe Burgess, 35, looked chic in a pair of flared blue jeans, a wrap top and heels and carried a Dior handbag.
Newly-married influencer Jadé Tuncdoruk also attended.
Nadia told Daily Mail Australia at the fashion show that she was thrilled over the turnout at the event and was grateful to Bec Judd for her ‘support’ and for ‘being a great friend’.
‘The buzz and seeing everyone here and seeing people wearing Henne, and everyone saying they love the pieces and want to buy the collection,’ she said.
‘Bec is such a good support, a good friend.’
‘The inspiration was the 80s, power dressing, shoulder pads, suits, and YTK,’ she said about her latest collection.
Nadia added that she is proud of herself for ‘working hard’ on her brand, after overcoming the infamous white powder scandal back in September 2021.
‘I’ve been working so long behind the scenes and I had my online store, seven years ago,’ she said.
The Henne designer was famously filmed ‘snorting white powder’ and breaking Melbourne’s strict lockdown in September 2021.
She added that she one day wants to take her brand global.
‘We’d love to expand internationally, not right now, but definitely in future. And we just opened the store in Melbourne,’ she explained.
She also touched on her budding romance with boyfriend Peter Dugmore while chatting to Daily Mail Australia.
The pair were first spotted together in January last year.
‘We’re going really well. We just like it private and we’re really happy together,’ she said.
Peter is a former footballer-turned-model, who is signed with modelling agency Giant Management.
Prior to launching his modelling career, Peter was a footballer in New South Wales.
According to his LinkedIn page, the dashing hunk, who is 188cm tall, is a Sales Director for a sporting goods company.
Nadia – who shares children Aston and Henley with her ex-husband Jimmy Bartel – has kept her romantic life private since her divorce, though she was previously linked to Nathan Brodie in 2020.
Nadia and Jimmy announced their separation in August 2019, but it’s believed they actually split two months prior.
Australian Fashion Week, running from May 15 to 19, will present 10 runway shows a day in which designers showcase their resort collections for spring/summer 2024.
Popular names like Aje, St Agni, Bondi Born, Anna Quan and Bec & Bridge are among the brands showing this year.
The week will include a wave of promising talent and fresh faces, including Asiyam, Youkhana, Erik Yvon, Iordanes Spyridon Gogos, Wackie Ju and Nicol & Ford.
