Let us first thank our favourite Bollywood celebrities for making us believe in the monochrome trend with their compelling looks. This Diwali, many actresses from the B-town took it upon themselves to flaunt ethnic outfits like fashionistas. Whether it’s a Diwali bash or a fashion photoshoot taking rounds on social media, some actresses flaunted monochrome looks like it’s nobody’s business. Monochrome is classy and it allows you to experiment with different patterns and styles. If you are also planning to add such a kind of outfit to your Diwali collection, do refer to these celebrities for some inspiration.

We couldn’t pry our eyes off Sara Ali Khan who aced a delightful look in this ethnic wear. For Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash, Sara flaunted a gorgeous lehenga in a beige shade adorning elaborate gold and silver work accompanied by sparkling details. Her traditional pick featured heavy embellishments. She teamed it with a stunning matching blouse that had a plunging neckline. All Sara needed was a pretty dupatta to seal the look. She wore a choker set to accessorise herself. Her dewy makeup and glossy lips worked as the perfect icing on the cake.

Ananya Panday also gave us some major fashion goals in her monochrome festive choice. She wore a mint green lehenga with complex embroidery work and embellishments. With that, the actress took a stylish blouse supported by straps showing a deep sweetheart neckline. Oh, wait! Her maang tika and earrings perfectly synced the mood of the outing. With kohl in her eyes and glossy lips, she looked straight into our eyes.

Seeing Kriti Sanon dressed in a breathtaking look was the best thing that happened to us this Diwali. She revived our craze for florals through her lehenga. The actress dazzled in a beautiful peach lehenga featuring intricate floral threadwork in contrasting shades of green, red and yellow. She brought a modern twist to her ethnic wear with a sassy blouse. Her peach dupatta also came with similar threadwork at the borders. Without going overboard with accessories, Kriti just opted for dangler earrings and a statement ring. Her dewy makeup including a subtle nude shade on the lips maintained the charm of her look.

If you are confused about your Diwali style, take some cues from Sayani Gupta’s lime green lehenga. She pulled off a breathtaking lehenga with 3D floral embellishments all over it. An uber-chic green blouse went well with the overall look. Don’t skip the dupatta that gave a sense of completion to her look. Sayani adorned herself with a statement neckpiece and earrings. Living up to the drama was her makeup with kohl-rimmed eyes and a dark brown shade on her lips.

She left our hearts racing with a mind-blowing lehenga decorated with printed floral designs all over.  With that, she added a stunning printed blouse. A dupatta on her shoulder finished off her look. Accessories? Check. Makeup? Check. A sleek hairdo complemented her look.
