All Mohanlal fans are excited for his next release A monster. The film is directed by Vysakh and written by Lucky Singh. Fans of the Malayalam superstar are eagerly waiting for the big release which will take place during Diwali. However, ahead of the big release, the film seems to be facing a hurdle. If recent reports are anything to go by, the film has been banned in the GCC countries. Reports state that the move is because of the film’s LGBTQ content. However, there is no confirmation of the same.
The makers of Mohanlal starrer Monster are yet to share an official statement about it. Reports suggest that the film has been banned in the GCC countries except the UAE. Monster has Mohanlal playing the role of an investigating officer. According to reports, the makers of Monster have sent the film to the censor board for re-evaluation and are hoping to get clearance. But there is a possibility that the film will not be released in GCC countries this week as it would be in other countries.
Apart from Mohanlal, the film also stars Lakshmi Manchu, Siddique, Lena, Honey Rose, Sudev Nair, KB Ganesh Kumar and Johnny Antony. The trailer of the movie has already impressed everyone. The story is about how only a monster can destroy a monster. The film releases on October 21 in India.
