Rajinikanth and Nelson Dilipkumar Tumnichar is nearing the Rs 600 crore mark at the global box office. The film re-established Thalaiva as Tamil cinema’s biggest superstar. Rajinikanth’s punchline, dialogues and Shivanna’s act as Hukum made the film a crowd pleaser. Also, many feel that Nelson Dilipkumar gave the perfect tribute to Rajinikanth as a fan boy after Petta. Now all eyes are on his next. He seems to be planning a film with Malayalam industry superstar Mohanlal. The film will have a character inspired by the legendary show Breaking Bad.
Mohanlal as Mathew in Nelson Dilipkumar’s next film
In Jailer, Mohanlal aka Lalettan did a cameo as Mathew. He was a friendly businessman. It seems that Nelson Dilipkumar is planning a film on Mathew’s life and how he is a fearsome gangster. The character was inspired by Gus Fring from the iconic show Breaking Bad. As we know, Gus is the main villain in the crime drama series. Actor Giancarlo Esposito played this role. He is also a major character in Better Call Saul, the prequel to Breaking Bad. Fans are very happy after hearing this. He also wants Dr Shivaraj Kumar aka Shivana on the show.
Nelson Dilipkumar is basking in the success of Jailer. He said that he expected the film to get a good response, but the audience’s love was unprecedented. Nelson said music composer Anirudh Ravichander was extremely emotional when he saw how people reacted to the film. He also opened for Beast. As we know Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde fans had huge expectations from Beast but the movie didn’t do so well. Nelson Dilipkumar said he was very upset during the first five days. It seems Thalapathy Vijay would call him at regular intervals to see if he was doing well.
