SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is making headlines as it creates history by winning accolades at the Golden Globe Awards. The film made India proud after winning the Best Original Song title for the Telugu song Naatu Naatu. While the country is celebrating the achievement, a section of netizens are trolling the film and Jr NTR. Bollywood actor Pooja Bhatt came in support of the makers and the Telugu superstar.

At the 80th Golden Globe Awards, RRR brought home the original song title for Naatu Naatu. While the team made waves in America, taking Indian cinema international and creating history, some are unhappy with the achievement. People felt that the Telugu song did not deserve to win the award and called Jr. NTR fake as he interacted with interactive media highlight at the award ceremony. They showed their displeasure towards the character who played Bhem in the period drama.

Pooja Bhatt gave a befitting reply to those who mocked the film behind their screens. The makers of the Telugu film are yet to comment on it, but Pooja can’t stand the trolls and has reacted strongly to the criticism. She wrote on Twitter that it is a human tendency to bear one’s own pain, but cannot take the happiness of others.

It started when screenwriter Aniruddha Guha called out those who call Naatu Naatu ordinary, RRR average and make fun of JR NTR’s accent. He used the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote what unhappiness they have been holding from their childhood, who can’t bear someone’s happiness. To this, Pooja Bhatt responded fiercely against the trolls and came in support of RRR, in which her sister Alia Bhatt plays the role of Sita, Ram’s fiancee.

Pooja Bhatt congratulated the team of RRR and composer MM Keeravaani who lifted the trophy at the Golden Globe Awards for Naatu Naatu. She is proud to have collaborated with him for five of her films for which he has given his music.
