Legendary boxer Mike Tyson has been spotted in a wheelchair days after he said: ‘I’m nearing my expiration date’

Boxing legend Mike Tyson, who is all set to make his acting debut with Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming pan-Indian film Liger, was spotted in a wheelchair at the Miami airport days after he spoke of his expiration date. His unusual appearance has now raised more concerns about his health.

The 56-year-old was reportedly escorted through the terminal at Miami International Airport. He was dressed in white shorts and a matching shirt and shoes and was seen posing for selfies with fans. But he didn’t look his best.

He used a cane with him and a white cloth to wipe his mouth. He was also seen carrying the same cane in New York. However, a source close to Mike dismissed people’s concerns and told TMZ it was “nothing serious.”

The former heavyweight champion is reportedly “dealing with a bout of sciatica” in his back, which was described as some old “wear and tear” from his life and “an occupational hazard for an athlete like Mike.” More troubling, however, is that Mike talked about dealing with death that same month during a conversation with his friend and therapist Sean McFarland.

“We’re all going to die one day, of course. Then when I look in the mirror and see these little spots on my face, I’m like, “Wow. That means my expiration date is approaching, really soon.” I just want to die knowingly I don’t want to die screaming And I’ve heard the last rights of a lot of people – a lot of famous people – and they’re getting ready to die and they’re leaving this planet screaming,” Mike said during his Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson podcast.

During the conversation, Mike also said that money is not important to him and does not bring the happiness and security that some people expect. “To me, money doesn’t mean nonsense. I always tell people – they think money will make them happy, they’ve never had money before – when you have a lot of money, you can’t expect no one to love you. How am I going to confess my love to you when you have $500 billion?”

He continued: “The false sense of security. You believe that nothing can happen. You don’t believe banks can collapse. You believe you are invincible when you have a lot of money, which is not true. That’s why I always say that money is a false sense of security.”

“What is security? I do not know. When you put money in your bank and you get a check every week and you can live for the rest of your life, is that security? Does that mean you won’t get a disease, can’t get hit by a car? You can’t jump off a bridge. I do not know. Is this a security? Can money protect you from that?” he had asked.
